![]() The Racing Line Peter Brown was dominant from the 6-lap Qualifier race, leading all the way to win from Wayne Morfett and John Borich, while fourth-placed Darren Peat had an excursion at Novus Loop dropping him back to eighth, allowing Gordon Bateup to take fourth narrowly ahead of Roger Hurkens and Fred Nelson. Though pressured by Morfett, Brown led all the way in the Fourth Round of the Boilergenics WA Holden HQ Championship with Borich just holding on to take third from Peat and Steve Raisin working his way up to fifth from the rear of the field. Chris Farr, initially fourth, retired with a flat after a moment at Shell corner, while Mike Annette clouted the tyre barrier while entering the pits. Brown finished off the night with two more wins from Morfett. In the first, Raisin took third ahead of Peat, Jeff Watts and Borich. In the final, Watts was third from Borich followed by Farr, Peat and Ryan Barnes. (Continued Page 2)
