![]() Australian Auto Action ![]() No. 828 March 11, 1999 HQ Holdens Peter Brown was dominant in the six lap qualifier race, leading all the way to win from Wayne Morfett, John Borich, Gordon Bateup, Roger Hurkens and Fred Nelson. Brown led all the way in the next race - round four of the Boilergenics WA HQ Holden Championship - ahead of Morfett, Borich, Peat and Steve Raisin. Chris Farr, initially fourth, retired with a flat after a moment at Shell Corner, while Mike Annette clouted the tyre barrier entering the pits. Brown finished the night with two more wins from Morfett. In the first Raisin was third ahead of Peat, Jeff Watts and Borich.
